The park is adjacent to the Hubbard Museum in Ruidoso Downs, NM. The statues are 1 1/2 sized and are beautifully displayed in various positions . Benches are provided in strategic locations, so visitors can spend time enjoying the scenes. The park is free and can be visited at all hours. You may also wish to take time to visit... 更多
Saw this years ago, but had to return with a friend to show this to him. If you enjoy the beauty of horses and their 'free spirit', you will enjoy this display. I'm sure small children would love it also, due to the size of the horses sculptured. I was and will always be in awe of this art display.... 更多
This is just a quick walk around a little park area with statues of horses. I really like horses so this was kind of great for me. There is also some information about each breed that is represented. I found it really cool but again, it takes at most 10 minutes to go around.
We had driven by the sculpture many times on our way in and out of Ruidoso and finally decided to stop and have a look. The sculptures are impressive with striking detail and situated inside a nice pathway. Nice place to stop and walk around, and the kids enjoyed it as well.
It's free to walk around the display and see the horses, so it's a great thing for families on limited budgets. The price to get in the museum there is prohibitive for families but this makes up for up.
The area was clean and the walk around to see all the horse statues was great. The statues were constructive so well that you thought you were up next to real horses.
Outdoor horse statues were really cool. Indoors, there was not much we were interested in. $18 for 2 adults, kids were free, so not a huge investment. Mostly this was different stagecoaches. Not many other exhibits and a lot of unused space.
