These murals dipict the history of the tribe that had the entire U.S Army chasing them up and down into Mexico and New Mexico; it also honors many tribal men that have served in many American conflicts when even at a time they could... 更多
What an awesome experience to visit this reservation high atop the mountains. Beautiful views, friendly people and plenty to do! Will go back again and again!
We traveled through the Mescalero Apache Reservation, but only stopped at the Inn of the Mountain Gods for lunch. The Reservation has beautiful mountains and a lake. This place is a hotel, casino, and music venue. As far as entertainment, I think this is it for the reservation. The trip was worth it to me because of the scenery.
The drive through the Mescalero Apache Reservation was very beautiful! We had gone to the Inn of the Mountain Gods for brunch and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The Inn was beautiful. On the reservation, there was some signs of poverty, but overall the reservation is filled with wildlife and beauty! I'm very glad we took the scenic route!

Loved everything about it. I wish the Inn of the Mountain Gods had not become a Casino. We don't go there anymore, but used to love it.

we drove up through the Mescalero apache reservation from Cloudcroft to Ruidoso and the landscape is magical, there were elk everywhere, the people that live there are very lucky to be in a place that has this kind of beauty
There is a feeling in the air that's hard to describe. We just drove through, and enjoyed the scenery. But there is something almost healing about being on their land. There is something wonderfully different about tthe Mescalero.
