This is the third tie I have been to the site. I take the tour with Docent and then explore the area all over again. I love being able to walk to the river and envision being there 300 years in the past. Two of the time I was there a pueblo resident showed me gardening techniques and how they... 更多
This was a very interesting visit. Even the teenagers were interested! The kiva tour was something you won't see anywhere else in the southwest. They are doing a great job preserving such amazing culture and traditions of the native Pueblo people.
CORONADO HISTORIC SITE which is located just north of Albuquerque. We walked down to the water edge of the Rio Grande but it was so overgrown and on a small cliff you couldn’t get to the river. The visitors center has some beautiful murals that were discovered in one of the kiva’s. They were so interesting. You can’t take pictures... 更多

The outside area is easily walked even for the partially handicapped (my husband has bad knees), but we did not attempt the ladder down into the recreated... 更多
Very interesting and informative. The guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Ancient ruins, good museum, worth every bit of the $5 fee. WPA project! Thanks FDR!
We loved this spot. We had the great good fortune to arrive just as the resident expert was conducting a tour of the painted kiva, something we've never seen in visits to many ruins. The chance to stand in a spot central to the pueblo-dwellers' culture seeing the paintings much as they did, was remarkable and moving. The guide did... 更多

The site is next to the Rio Grande River and provided good views of the river along with a few shaded picnic sites. The docent was very informative about the site and provided... 更多
So wonderful to find such a fascinating, educational and well-run site practically right in our own backyard! Well worth an afternoon when in the area.
