If you are in Bumthang, ask your guide to take you to Burning Lake. A short hike from the car park takes you to a beautiful, peaceful area where you could spend hours just taking it all in and communing with nature. A must visit when in central Bhutan.
It is actually a river and not a lake. The tourist point is the place where the river kind of stops in to a almost still area. You should read up about it... Quite mystic and nestled in the middle of large Rocky Mountain it has amazing natural beauty. But that is all... There is no touristy thing like cafe... 更多

The circular deep black pool in the middle of the lake and a silent and scary lake I ever visit. Yet it is blessed to whoever visit and prays in the region. But it is always a good place to feel the historic lake and experience the beauty of holy lake.

Not a long walk from the car park so at least worth a look. A few people have fallen in recently and drowned in the rapids so avoid the ledge.

There is a nunnery near by that is very special and worth dropping in and seeing.
