For 10 rand entry its a snip! Displays are well laid out in English, French and Afrikaans of the origins of the Dutch settlement in the Cape. Of course all about the Huegonots, their persecution, hence some farmers were receptive to resettlement. And how talented they were....bringing their knowledge and grape to the southern hemisphere.
Situated on the outskirts of Franschoek, this well maintained monument and museum is worth a visit by descedents of the Huguenot refugees as well as French tourists.
The cafeteria serve a variety of drinks and eats. Do not expect fast service for a quick visit or for a group. Individual visitors are well catered for however.
