We went just as day visitors in a dry period.Still fascinating.Great sights of rocks, water, the canyon and fauna.Well maintained, well worth a visit.
Visited again after many years' absence. The park is still as good as ever. The staff are well-informed, pleasant and most helpful; the chalets are kept in fine condition, and we would rate them as about equal with the best SANPARKS has to offer (Mapungubwe N P) - clean, spacious, comfortable and welcoming. After an obligatory visit to the falls... 更多
The SANPARKS self catering accommodation within the National Park is probably the most convenient base for exploring this attraction. The units are well maintained. (Beware of the monkeys - they will "rob" you as soon as you drop your guard)! One probably needs to spend 2 nights and a full day there. Suggest visit the falls from about 1 hour... 更多
A fascinating place to see when visiting Kakamas in the Northern Cape. Situated within a national park that provides accommodation as well, this waterfall is a world wonder and can be done on a day or half day visit.
Well done,Sanparks for keeping this national treasure so pristine. The chalet we stayed in was spacious, clean ,comfortable and well equipped. The park was well kept and cared for.The walks to the falls were safe and easy to manoeuvre. Though the drought has taken its toll, the falls were spectacular. We had the pleasure of attending the cultural day of the... 更多
What a honour to marvel at this majestic waterfall. Although not in flood at the time that we were there it was still powerful enough to make that loud roar. I would recommend anyone in this area to view this amazing God created marvel.
we had a great ride with a few challenges and spectacular views. The roads were well signposted and splashing through the small rivers was a great cool off
What a wonderful experience to see this 56m drop of surging water from the Orange river. Such a different and unusual setting in the Green Kalahari Augrabies National Park . we enjoyed seeing the arid terrain and the falls for the first time.It must be spectacular to see the river and falls in flood. The gorge is amazing, you can view... 更多
Even though South Africa is experiencing a severe drought at the moment the falls are still worth a visit. The walkways and look out points are all well maintained. The chalet we stayed in was one with a view which I recommend and although a little dated it was large, clean and also well maintained. The Baboons are a bit... 更多
My friend and I spent the night at Augrabies National Park. The accommodation was very comfortable and very clean. The only problem was that our Chalet, no 29 was right next to the recycle bins, which were all full and had the lids open. While I was in the kitchen a great big baboon came in and tried to open... 更多
