1st off as a twosome, 6:30am, done in 3:30 hrs.. Hot & muggy but no bugs. Greens and fairways very good condition, greens a little slow
But in perfect shape, enjoyable round. Bunkers and there are many of them hence the name, were better but still very difficult to get out of, heavy rain the night before did not help.
Four of us played. The course has huge sand bunkers, hence the name. Several of the bunkers were damaged by weather and not re-sanded. Greens were in fine condition. A good course with a few challenging holes. They don't have a refreshment cart in circulation. When we got to the half way hut, there was no one present to provide...
Course is great, is always well maintained and they do a decent job of keeping the pace of play moving. 27 hole course so you have 3 nines and that helps to spread the golfers out. Starters are always really nice and in general everyone is great here.
