Great beach to bring the family. Amusement park on the boardwalk. Clean beach. Great waves. The kids had fun. We stayed for the weekend at the Point Pleasant Manor.
Get there early and rent an umbrella, the waves were powerful, but the sand was clean. The people so helpful. But it gets packed fast and some of the out of towners can litterly lay on top of you. So get as much room as possible when you sit down.
It's much more quiet than other shore points and the boardwalk makes it family friendly. There are also some nice beach bars along the way and nice restaurants around town. I love that they have volleyball tournaments every weekend. The only downside to the beach is the shore break. The water tends to get rough too.
I work in Point Pleasant Beach. I notice that there is a lot of cars that come that I believe are around $35,000+ Lamborghinis and Ferraris and other extremely expensive cars.
