My family and I decided to check out this beach and the boardwalk while vacationing in the area. The beach is huge, and lovely as is the boardwalk. Unfortunately the water was reportedly choppy and for this reason beach goers were not permitted in the water. We opted to not pay the $30+ entrance fee for our family to access... 更多
I used to love Jenks and the beach here, so when an opportunity arose recently to head to the beach on a Saturday afternoon, we decided to take our two young boys (ages 3 and 6). We spent the first hour of our time here circling the streets and parking lots trying to find parking. We eventually found a spot... 更多
My family and I were visiting several Nj shore points in August in an attempt to find the perfect place for a week long vacation in 2016. The beach was nice boardwalk was small. The public restrooms were horrible. My wife walked into one and told me there was feces all over the toilets. We then walked down the boardwalk... 更多
The price of beach badges was included in our motel prices which was wonderful because it was $9/per per person during the week. Over priced for the beach. Parking is $15 which is why I selected a motel within walking distance. Too much for a family to spend for a day at the beach
This was my first time in point pleasant and was a nice afternoon exploring and taking it easy. The boardwalk was fun and has many venues to get really favorful seafood dishes. The boardwalk also have many activities for the family. The only thing I did not like was you have to purchase a beach pass. The beach should be... 更多
first and most important -- know the difference between the 3 side-by-side restaurants; Lobster Shanty is the newest restaurant (with pale yellow siding/walk around deck) -- Jack Baker's Wharfside is the "middle child"; an old-school dark brown affair --- and the Patio Bar closes up the other end of the trio; it's a patio with a bar-n-band. The night we... 更多
Great beach to bring the family. Amusement park on the boardwalk. Clean beach. Great waves. The kids had fun. We stayed for the weekend at the Point Pleasant Manor.
Get there early and rent an umbrella, the waves were powerful, but the sand was clean. The people so helpful. But it gets packed fast and some of the out of towners can litterly lay on top of you. So get as much room as possible when you sit down.
It's much more quiet than other shore points and the boardwalk makes it family friendly. There are also some nice beach bars along the way and nice restaurants around town. I love that they have volleyball tournaments every weekend. The only downside to the beach is the shore break. The water tends to get rough too.
