I don't know if I went to the wrong place, but as you can see it looked nothing like the pics here. I have never seen so much seaweed in one place ! There were tons of broken shells, beer bottle pieces and bones in the sand. Any of them could be dangerous the the dogs paws or if swallowed... 更多
Came here looking for a dog beach a little closer to our home. THis one is limited in size, but it was nice. Lots of people frequent the area. We were there in the offseason, many people had their dogs off leash, some dogs were swimming. Seemed like a great place. I do prefer the dog beaches down at Island... 更多
The beach is awesome and there are many responsible owners with leased dogs. BUT.... Unfortunately, I witnessed an off leash Rottweiler attack a small leashed dog. After the confrontation, the selfish woman continued to let her dog off leash. I was afraid to walk my medium sized dog past her unrestrained dog, which meant I was restricted to one end... 更多
This past Sunday was a warm and beautiful December day to explore Fisherman’s Cove with our dog. The actual beach area where you can walk your dog was smaller than I expected but my dog enjoyed the chance to wade in the water during low tide. Owners are supposed to keep their dogs leashed on the beach, but some don’t... 更多
It's the doggie beach! Your dog will thank you for visiting. It's friendly, fun and there's lots of room to run around. Easy for dogs to swim (gradual drop-off in water depth). Hard to beat. One of the many great things about squan.
Great place to let your dog frolic in the sand and surf, but go at low tide as there is little beach. Also, plan to wear flip flops or water shoes as there is so e debris and lots of funky shells around!
We live nearby and enjoy the tranquility of Fisherman’s Cove during the off-season. We also launch our kayaks on the Manasquan River from the Cove. However, summer weekends can be crazy with dozens of dogs in the area, many of them unleashed and the owners nowhere in sight. Two years ago, we returned from kayaking through the Glimmerglass and Watson’s... 更多
After trying to close the beach to dogs during peak hours, the town relented, and once again, this is a top spot to bring your pet. Some of the beach is rocky, but there is a lot of sand and great views of the Manasquan Inlet
We visited this beach the first beautiful Saturday in April which was a welcome adventure after the long winter. This beach is on the Manasquan Inlet and seems to be a popular place for dog lovers to bring their dogs to swim and play. It was quite crowded the day we went but if you keep walking the beach curves... 更多
