I wonder how many people in New Jersey know about this wonderful scenic look out...this is my favorite place for the view. My husband and I visited here in the Fall in 2015 and then at the end of September in 2016. This would be a great place to have some professional photos taken for graduation or weddings. There are... 更多
Nice place to spend the entire evening seeing the greenery of NJ, we can see the new york sky line and dense forest of NJ from this place. We went to this place last weekend and enjoyed our evening in this calm place.
I’ve been visiting Washington Rock for 50 years and the views are still wonderful especially when you imagine what George Washington witnessed at this spot. Other than the lookout spot, some picnic tables and a short hiking trail there isn’t much there. You can spend 20 minutes to an hour there. The area needs to be cleaned up; there was... 更多
George Washington use this look out to watch the British come into the country, hence the name Washington Rock. The views here are spectacular. You can see the NYC skyline, Staten island and parts of South Jersey.

The view is lovely - across NJ's very suburban plain to the east, with the lights and buildings of Manhatten visible to the... 更多
This park has nothing much to offer history wise, but it's a nice little place to visit and have lunch or whatever. Nice view of Manhattan, and a couple of picnic tables, but there's nothing else here except a plaque and an outline of a proposed fort. I still come here from time to time, though, just to relax...since there's... 更多
You wouldnt think you could see views like this in New Jersey. Beautiful views, with some real historic significance. There is no reason to make a special, out of your way trip here. But if you are nearby - any time of year - stop and see the view.
It's a very short drive from home so we visit on a whim quite often. Nice views of the NYC skyline on a clear day. It used to be a good spot to watch the fireworks in the distance before they moved it to the east river. It's a little unkempt, disappointing since some visitors see fit to discard trash... 更多
