What an incredible find. Joanne was our tour guide and she was so wonderful! The site is beautiful and the house (museum) is filled with incredible artifacts. There is so much to see in that I recommend going a few times if you are staying in the area. The history of the house is fascinating in and of itself, however... 更多
I thought it would be two rooms but turned out to be about ten rooms plus the carriage house. A great display of American History. Don't miss this.
Come one and all. This little gem tucked into the woods is a cornucopia of rich American history, from glassware and fashion to the original flag carried in the battle of Gettysburg and everything in between. Something for everyone and that's not a cliche'. Our tour guides Joanne and Sue were congenial, smarty smart and oh so filled to the... 更多
Boring seemed to lack organization. Very poor gift shop non-related historical gifts. Was looking for family tree chart. Office staff seemed not friendly. Tour guide OK
We appreciate your feedback. We're sorry you didn't have an enjoyable visit to our museum. We want everyone who comes... 更多

A warm welcome upon your arrival, the guide is a student majoring in history (and she new her history) Visit in small group (we were 6 ) informative, interesting the visit last 1 hours and a half but it seems to me like 10 minutes, I learn a lot about Victorian living in Cape May and local history.
Besides the old home, the original lens from the Cape May Lighthouse is on display along with a stage coach, military uniforms and medical room with some stuff that makes you appreciate modern medicine. The home is packed with interesting artifacts that gives you an idea how people lived in Cape May County 100 to 250 years ago, I learned... 更多

You could tell that she loved the subject matter (Cape May history) which I'm sure is not exclusive to the area but also life in the times. Learned a lot of... 更多
