The walk was very scenic, but you cannot put your feet in at all, even getting in or out of a canoe! My son got a warning from the ranger. Ouch. Not sure why motor boats with gas/ oil, are allowed, but not a foot to get into the canoe.
Massabesic Lake is a nice park where you can hike, enjoy the nature view, relax or go fishing. You can bring your dog to this park for hiking. It is a quite park, not too far from the town. There are boats on the reservoir along with fishers. Strange how boats are in the reservoir, but you are not allow... 更多
I often take time to enjoy nature without traveling very far. The other day a friend and I enjoyed the Goldenrod (nearby restaurant with ice cream), and had some extra time, so we drove to Lake Massabesic just moments away to continue talking and enjoying the early summer day. This is a pretty park, nice lake has pota potties. Has a path on the shore & tables for a picnic. No swimming since it is a water supply for Manchester.

My husband and I took our kyaks here last year and it was beautiful! We passed pretty camps and everyone waved to us. So serene and comfy day. Love the lake!

My son loves to go fishing here. We go for hikes, boating, fishing and it is just beautiful. There are so many walking paths that you just don't know about until you get in and start walking.
As we walked through Livingstone, we thought seeing Massabesic would be a good idea. Having been to many places and seen great lakes, I must confessed Massabesic paled in comparison. It is more like a walled waterbody, a reservoir of sort. But combined with the Livingstone and the surrounding landscape, Massabesic stood out on its own. We merely walked along... 更多
