We visited these well designed gardens on a cloudy day. As the day progressed, it became a rainy day. Who cared? We enjoyed strolling the grounds of the many different gardens as well as seeing the various animals in the Barnyard. The owner was great at answering questions as he worked to maintain the grounds. Thankfully there was a covered... 更多
The Tarbin Gardens are located off exit 17 from 93. Just a short ride. The gardens are the brainchild of a family. Mother and son have developed winter spring and summer gardens. I believe there are some animals for kids. It's just a very nice place to visit. Something you wouldn' t expect. Easy walking paths.
From the moment we stepped through the gates,Tarbin Gardens was a peaceful respite full of beautiful sights and smells. The variety of plants and flowers will astound you (all well-labeled), and don't miss the afternoon English tea and pastries for an additional fee. You will think you have stepped back in time. There's a small petting zoo with beautiful Highland... 更多
We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through the various paths of this garden. Most of the paths are level and easy to walk. Many flowers and flowering bushes were in bloom. Seeing all this natural beauty was therapeutic. Everything is so well done which show the love and care of the owners/caretakers. The caretaker told us that there is something different... 更多
Well developed and beautiful gardens designed and looked after by the owner and family. Well worth a visit when in this part of NH. Simply lovely plants and 'blooms'. When you arrive sign up for afternoon tea served with delightful and sweet culinary delights. A true touch of Elizabethan England in our modern 'day'.
I have been here a number of times, bringing different friends over time after my first visit, several years ago. If I hadn't been looking for it, I would have passed it by. I was amazed at how expansive the area is to walk, but I have always chosen to do a self-guided tour. I can cover as little or... 更多
We celebrated my Mother's birthday at Tarbin Gardens this past weekend. I found out about this hidden gem from a co-worker and was excited to hear they offered tea service - my mother’s favorite indulgence! We called a couple of weeks in advance to make a reservation since we knew we would have a larger party. We were given permission... 更多
The gardens are a bit rougher than Kew, but are beautiful nonetheless. We spent about an hour and a half wandering among the flowers, then sat down to tea and scones. Well worth the time and the entrance fee.
I was so badly bitten by deer flies that I will never go back. I have been icing my shoulder and my hand since I came home. They really need to spray for the customers' enjoyment of their gardens. The gardens are beautiful, but a bit overgrown. We almost had a 5 star high tea experience but, besides the swarming... 更多
