Peaceful and clean camping. Nice beach on the lake with a dock for the kids to climb on and jump of. Nice large sites. Very nice staff. The only drawback for us (working from the Internet full time) is there is absolutely no Wifi or cell service and I mean NONE! The solution is to drive into Errol and sit... 更多
This is a beautiful lake. It's known in the area as a favorite spot for moose, although we didn't see any during our visit. I'd highly recommend taking a drive/walk by around sunset, it's simply breathtaking. It's a great area for camping, hiking, walking, and being with nature!
Been here a couple of times, always a great time when out on a remote site. Being on the main camp is a little bit to noisy for me. I'll take 10 days on r21 anytime. Views and wildlife abounds. Remotes it's are massive while base sites are more of the norm. Ice and woos in camp store, boat ramp... 更多
We enjoyed our stay immensely. We had campsite R1 and stayed two nights and three days. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, giving us 5 kayaks for the price of 4 and charging us for only two days of use. The campsite was clean and well kept. The view was beautiful. We were able to see bald eagles, loons,... 更多

Showers were clean as well and were free, despite a coin operator found at the shower. The campgrounds were pretty spacious and were not on top of one another. My only complaint is... 更多
Arrived late, the owners were kind enough to leave a map for us and allow us entry. I had been excited about our site, but when we arrived it was much smaller than expected and the set-up was wonky. Due to the location of the fire pit, the trailer needs to be parked on the opposite side of the site... 更多
This state park/national wildlife refuge is absolutely amazing!! The wildlife is incredible, just stayed 6 nights at remote site 29 and saw 6 moose, one was seen right from our site!! Plus we saw multiple bald eagles, loons, osprey, and even river otters. Great place to get away from everything and relax!!
I have been camping the better part of 35 years and my last trip here ticked me off. I have stayed at Umbagog about 6-7 times, and my last trip was the first time i had stayed at the base camp (not remote). Never again! The cons: The base camp- The main road is so close to the campground there... 更多
