Delivered my grandson for the fall 2016 semester as a freshman. Easy application for admissions as they helped us get FASFA/under special needs/no parental support. Multiple selections of subjects to enroll. Dorms across the campus on one major block Very organized welcoming committee to settle new students in. I accidentally ran into the University of Nevada, and it was a beautiufl surprise! The buildings are beautiful and breathtaking. It makes me want to go back to school
This university is a class act from the time you arrive until it's time to leave. Although my son was accepted at a few university's--he definitely picked the best one. We fully understand why our son loves it so much!
UNR has been expanding programs and offerings over the past decade. New buildings are in progress, planned or recently opened. There are plenty of opportunities for students with well-known programs in journalism, engineering and Nevada's only medical school. It is a lovely campus on the edge of a burgeoning city.
the campus at UNR is so beautiful with all the old buildings and amazing trees not to mention the variety of courses you can take while attending. If you don't want to take classes their it is still worth wondering around and gaze
Big enough to still be small....suited to those in the sciences and engineering. Methinks...even with the increased student body size...services are still set so as not to be a number.

Nice campus to walk around and relax. Pretty fountain to sit by and read or relax. Nice green. Wanted to go to museum but it was closed. Heard it was nice.
