We have hiked this trail from the main parking lot at the south end trail head out to Davis Dam and back several times. It's best to walk early in the day before it gets too hot. There are some beautiful views of the river and surrounding countryside to be had. The trail itself is paved and in good condition.
When we come to Laughlin, we always just had the Riverwalk for the Colorado River view when walking. This path is way more enjoyable and less crowded than walking behind the casinos. We drove down from the Harrah's casino and parked in the lot by the visitor center, at the base of the bridge crossing Hwy163. From there you start... 更多
I heard some good thing about this place being a great place to relax at, so one day I felt like I needed to take a long Morning walk, Seeing It was finals week at MCC and the workload was getting to me and I figured to try The North Trailhead ad clear my head. At first I was having... 更多
An easy flat trail which I started from just up from the visitor center, from a recommendation from the two extremely helpful and knowledgeable ladies in there. It's just over 2 miles one way to the dam. If you want to walk extra, the "horseshoe trail" takes you on a more rugged hike ( wear hiking shoes),and there's also an... 更多
Love this trail, we start at our hotel(Aquarius ) and walk across the Hwy overpass and on to Davis dam. There is a very good park at the dam,we rest here for a bit ,enjoy the scenery and head back. This is a little over 5 miles return and you can ride your bike, walk your dog ,run or just... 更多
One loop and one out and back. The out and back is completely accessible although the ADA compliant restrooms were closed in February 2016 with port-a-johns available. The loop is varying degrees of incline and difficulty, not ADA accessible. Great views, some wildlife. Peace and quiet away from the casinos.
Excellent view of the dam. Nice facilities, nice trails. They even have a splash pad. It was closed for the winter, but it looks good. They have a very nice playground for the kiddies with rubber matting under it. I imagine it would hotter than blazes in the summer.
By far one of the nicest walking paths in the area. It is paved and flat, so everyone can do this walk. The path is about 4 miles out and back with shade and benches along the way. If you want you can hike up along the ridge and get a fantastic view of the Colorado river and Davis Dam.... 更多
