The venue is well laid out. The literature easy to follow. Guided tours are available. The remains are being nicely revealed and there are quite a good number of preserved sections
We visited in punishing heat and chose not to take the guided tour. Explanations were very clear and the whole site was well presented. The mosaics though fragmentary in places were very thoughtfully highlighted in context. Afterwards we talked with the guide whose enthusiasm and knowledge was very evident

The museum is not that spectacular (except for the maquette of the surroundings) but the guided tour was really good. The guide who was obviously an archeologist himself gave a lot of details about the differences between all the mosaics that have been found. Also quite some information about antique wines to be found in this place.
Wonderful place! Been there several times! Written guides in english, however, you are lucky if you get an english speaking guide, as is often the case in France.
