I saw this on back of a magazine, when we went to go do our "mining" I made a point to stop. Beautiful as old charm candy store, but that was all I got from it. Fudge was around $18 a lb, chocolates were around 10/11 a lb, and your everyday candy, jellybeans, jollyranchers, etc, was almost 9 a lb.... 更多
Everything was fresh and amazing. It is reasonably priced for really great quality chocolate. It has a great historic feel. Just a yummy place to visit as an extra treat.
Every trip to Pburg has been on a Saturday, so we have never been in the Sweet Palace before. This trip was on a Sunday, so we were definitely stopping in!! What a tantalizing place to spend a rainy afternoon in Philipsburg! Greeted at the door with a big smile and the choice of a couple of new taffy treats. A must see in Philipsburg. Jars and jars of candies and vast selection of chocolates. How do you decide? Free samples of fudge at the cash register--so good you will buy some. 8.95/lb for candies, $10.95 for fudge and $18.95 for chocolates.
You can take home any of 1000 different candies from this World Class Candy Store that is unrivaled by anything I've seen, even in NYC, but I choose dark chocolate, pecan, caramel "Turtles" and various favors of REAL caramels. Worth a trip to Philipsburg alone for this! And there is much more to this small town than just candy!
