The perfect stop for a train buff. Our little nephew loves railroad stuff and the gentleman on duty was very kind to explain items to him. There is an interesting area on movies that have been shot in the area throughout the years. The story of the building itself is very interesting.
This was a nice, small museum about the railway and it's influence in this Yellowstone gateway town. Interesting artifacts, beautiful architecture for a town that at the time the depot was built was tiny and basically out in the middle of nowhere. Trains still run past there, but it is no longer the actual depot. Just the kind of small... 更多
Train buffs will love this attraction. Go see the train museum you will get a $2.00 discount towards the Depot. This takes a step back in time to steam loco's. Gives you info on how and why this area was picked as a maintenance yard for the railroads. They still do repairs and maintenance here at the yard house. Nice... 更多

Our kid was super excited about this place. We are glad we found this place to keep his enthusiasm high enough to get him to explore the Yellowstone park with us.
Located in the heart of town this small but very well done museum packs a punch and will be a hit with every member of the family especially train aficionados. Great pictures and lots of information on the running of the depot and the men who built it. They have a small gift store and an upstairs section that is... 更多
Heading towards the north entrance of Yellowstone, we came through this lovely town. We are interested in history, especially trains. We loved this museum that is located in the historic district. This Northern Pacific passenger station was designed after the New York City Grand Central Station. We did the self guided tour for a family rate of $12.00. Be sure... 更多
