Very nice natural area. It is one of my daughters' favorite hikes. Not a long hike but many types of scenery. There is a fern glen, natural arches, small creek and a waterfall (in wet weather). I have done the hike many times and highly recommend it.
Great Place to Hike. It is a hike though not a leisurely walk. Terrain is somewhat rough, lots of tree stumps. You walk down hill for about a mile which means you have to walk back up hill for about a mile. All in all a great hike for a family outing.
I've hiked Pickle Springs many times. The path is well-maintained and clearly marked. There's plenty of parking and lots of rock formations to see.

This is one of the best nature trails in this part of the state. From unusual rock formations to small canyons and squeezes, young and old will enjoy the day winding through the forest, climbing the rocks, and hiding in the canyons. Virtually something different around every turn
if you are looking for a short hike this is a must. The trail is easy and at about three miles it's perfect for an afternoon. awesome bluff views across Missouri woodlands. I go often because its very close to home.

You will come across natural rock formations, canyons and small waterfalls along the trail. I would highly recommend this area. Good hiking shoes recommended. Pls note this is a natural conservation area and this doesn't have... 更多
One of the areas where Mother Nature is at her best. Short hike but rocky paths. A short drive to reconnect with Mother Nature's beauty.
