I'm from Saint Louis. Used to be one of the most violent places in town but they turned it into a showplace. Anywhere east on Delmar is dangerous. Well worth a visit.
This is the hip area of St. Louis. Good restaurants, bars, etc. Young crowd for the most part. Fork & Stix is our favorite restaurant in the area.
Home of Fitz Soda you can sit and order yourself a classic Root Beer float or maybe a Black Cherry Black Forest float. And sit and watch Fitz bottle their soda. A must see when yu're at The Loop
Almost each time we are in St. Louis my husband wants to visit Vintage Vinyl. The staff are helpful and nice. The neighborhood has something for everyone. Places to eat and shop. It is clean and nice place to hang out with friends while 'window shopping'.
So here you have bars/restaurants, boutiques, head shops, odds and ends shops, you name it. If you like window shopping, walking around, odd/offbeat culture you'll like it here. It's really a fun walk. The stars on the sidewalk are interesting and there's normally artsy things and street performers on the sidewalks. You may get pan handled so just be prepares.
We love our visits to The Loop. It's a great St. Louis sample of the cosmopolitan scene. Trendy shops, unique foods, wide sidewalks make way for a melting pot of cultures and styles. Great places for coffee and breakfast as well as lunch and even dinner atop the Moonrise Hotel.
This is a pretty unique neighborhood in the St. Louis area. It has some great restaurants and unique stores. Blueberry Hill is a nice restaurant with some live music. I am a big fan of Fitz's restaurant where you can watch various soda's being made. Fitz's is my favorite root beer. There is also the St. Louis walk of Fame... 更多
Some great food here - Blue Ocean Sushi, Blueberry Hill, and the Melting Pot (fondue - yum!). Subterranean Books is great as well. Looking for something fun and original? Take a trip to the Loop!
Blueberry hill featuring Chuck Berry of international fame Plays there at least once a month and and has a lot of his memorbillia
Tasty eats, trendy shopping, artsy atmosphere. I love the loop and the variety of shops and restaurants it has to offer. It's a great place to walk on foot and check out the stores. It gets a little sketchy after 9 p.m., but if you travel in groups and pay attention it's a safe area.
