My husband and I toured this beautiful mansion while vacationing in St. Louis. It was hard to find as it is actually in the campus of the university. Parking was also a challenge. It was worth the effort, though. The home is beautiful. I especially loved the stained glass windows. The tour is self-guided and took us about an hour.... 更多
Beautiful stain glass windows, amazing wood work. We had two tour groups, both led by docent, Tara, and they were fabulous! Tara was knowledgeable and very passionate about the home. This house is amazing and I highly recommend seeing it. You don't have to go with a tour group, you can do a self-walking tour, but I'm glad I went... 更多

Glimpse back to the turn of the century St Louis wealthy self made families home. The architecture, the art (Mary Cassatt) and the glass collection by Steuben! Amazing. Only self guided tours but I wish they had a guided tour so we could learn even more!

The campus grounds are pretty too, with a few Victorian homes nestled in. The stone house is impressive at first sight. Once... 更多
A beautiful mansion on St Louis University campus that is in excellent shape with many beautiful furnishings. Tour is free, but consisted of a self guided read of a pamphlet that did not provide much information. The experience would definitely benefit from a knowledgable docent
The Samuel Cupples house is a historic mansion filled with great architecture and wonderful collections of art and antiques. It is quite the little gem we stumbled across as we took our daughter to college at SLU! It is magnificent and a true asset to the University. Admission is free and it is a nice little retreat from the city.
We love house museums - and while it would have been nice to have an information sheet about the house's... 更多
