It is not currently a top of the line facility building wise while under transition but it is neat to be able to get an up and personal feel of what is there. Bring able to be face to face with an alligator and see the ferocity in his face while being safe on the other side of the glass.... 更多
The World Aquarium is a part of the City Museum on the 2nd floor. It's pretty small, but it's neat. They have sharks and sting rays and areas where you can crawl through the water areas and see the sharks, etc. out the tube. Very neat and exotic animals! $8 a head
The place looks small but it is bigger once you go in. We took the ADATA tour, which is interactive and lets you feed the stingrays, pet the sharks, feed the turtles, and touch a few other animals. We were happy with the tour, the guide was nice and friendly, explained lots of information, and was open for questions and... 更多
Was excited to see the kids able to touch some of the animals. However the pictures are misleading. The big tanks were so dirty that you couldn't see the Sharks/turtles unless they were next to the glass. Many tanks were dirty. I understand it's a lot of volunteered work and internship but , I feel they should help keep the... 更多
We looked online and the place looked amazing! Upon entering, we realized that we had been fooled. The place is small and filthy. The cages are way to small for the animals and have no safety features on them! We also couldn't understand why there were pets inside of an aquarium? Waste of money and our time.
Given the size of this aquarium, I think the entry fee is a little much, especially since it's on top of the already-high City Museum entry fee. That being said, it is very cute and love that some of the displays are "hands-on".
The poor reviews really upset me. These animals are mainly ones people did not want any longer. Sure the cages aren't top notch because they have little amount of funding.. all based off donations and entrance fee. It is 8 dollars to get in. There are places for kids to climb through tunnels etc. One is in the shark tank.... 更多
we drove three hours to see the aquarium though I thought it was cool to see I was kinda disappointed that they charged so much for it when most of the animals you could barely see the water was so cloudy and dirty and the tanks was poorly maintained. I think its great that they rescued the animals but they... 更多
