On work travel with colleagues who convinced me we needed to stop by the Grand Hall. A quiet night with room service was appealing but I am so glad I joined them in the Grand Hall. The laser light shows playing off the intricate details of the ceiling were awesome. They are scheduled for hourly after 5:00 but it seemed... 更多
I stayed at this hotel in November 2015 and now October 2016 for business. Still great customer service, clean and comfortable rooms.
I stayed at the Union Station - Doubletree in August 2016. The hotel stay itself was okay, but I was disappointed with the front desk check-in and the room service. In particular, when I checked in I specifically requested a room with NO adjoining door inside the room. When I got to my room I was surprised to see the... 更多
You couldn't even get into one of the lobby areas to take a few pictures unless you were a hotel guest. Nothing there, massive waste of time and energy. When it reopens properly I'd check online what there is to see if it's worth going.
We walked down here from the river front, at lot further and longer then Google says (unless you are Mo Farah). The city is looking very run down and poor and we were accosted by a few 'homeless' on the walk down. When we got there, the only two places we found one was the Hotel and the Hard Rock... 更多
We came for a light show that happens in the evenings. That was a bit underwhelming but the space itself is awesome. The ceiling and stained glass window is stunning. Worth a look if you are in the area.
Union Station is in transition right now and not worth the effort to visit. Only Subway and Charleys Philly Cheesesteaks are left open in the Food Court and the guy at Charleys said they will be gone in two months (it is now 8-13-16). All the stores and the museum are closed up in preparation for the big renovation. Hard... 更多
We stayed at the hotel there, which was nice. Union Station itself really has nothing left and hasn't for several years. Where there used to be shopping and restaurants there is nothing but abandon shops. Most of it is roped off. There is a Hard Rock and a Landry's outside of the station. There are also some train cars that... 更多
Wanted to stay at or close to the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel's restaurant. Very good food, excellent service, reasonably priced.
We drove by Union Station and could not wait to visit,. We anticipated an opportunity to take in a beautiful piece of history and an opportunity to learn. Well we were really disappointment. It is now being used as a hotel and no history. Really sad.
