This is a great Museum to visit for any baseball fan. I truly enjoyed the memorabilia and facts they provided about the Negro league baseball.
The NLBM is about as comprehensive a small museum as we've been. The information is clearly presented in vibrant, concise displays. Anyone who loves baseball needs to spend at least two hours at this well-designed museum. It's not huge but it is very well designed. It is not only a history of the Negro Leagues but also a well-documented history of our country.
There is so much here to see! We bought tickets for both the baseball & jazz museum for one day... that's a LOT to see and could easily cover 2 days. The baseball museum has an incredible mount of memorabilia, photos, and artifacts. I found the historical aspects interesting. It's not just history of Negro League baseball, it's history of... 更多
While in town to watch the Braves play the Royals, we came here to visit as well per a recommendation. It was fascinating learning so much about the history of a time when separate leagues were in existence. So much history to appreciate and experience.
The Negro League museum is very very informative. It is packed in a building with a couple other museums. If you love baseball you will love this museum.
This was by far the best place we visited in KC! This museum offers more than just the history of the Negro League but also the history of African Americans. I loved it. Make sure you plan to spend some time here, it's a lot of history.
If you call yourself a baseball fan and are anywhere near Kansas City, MO you owe it to yourself to go by and take a tour of the Negro Baseball Museum. There is a admission charge for the tour but the charge is very reasonable. Once inside you will see artifacts, paraphernalia, short films and other displays from the time... 更多
There was plenty of stuff to read and learn about, and the setup was very cool. Baseball enthusiast or not, this is a great museum.
