This a great theater if you like small excellent artistic movies. You can have a light meal and they have excellent beers, wines and mixed drinks. They have a great bakery and coffee available. The selection of movies is outstanding and you can enjoy it with your beverage of choice and light refreshment.
I went to Ragtag Cinema yesterday to see a movie that wasn't available in the standard fare theaters. While a little difficult to find, it turned out to be a unique and kind of folksy experience with some one actually introducing the movie and talking about coming attractions. Several challenges: 1) the restrooms are inadequate 2) parking is somewhat of... 更多
Ragtag continues to have a fantastic selection of movies and a very comfortable venue. Introduction to the film and coming attractions are given by knowledgable and very entertaining hosts. Can't say enough positive things about this organization.
I don't get to Ragtag often enough. This week's showing of Florence Foster Jenkins was a fun activity and reminded me that we should do this more often. Check out the Ragtag schedule online. Pick one of the varied offerings of good films not always shown in major theatres. Go for a relatively inexpensive movie experience with popcorn and other... 更多
We go to ragtag cinema at least twice a month. They show films you can't see elsewhere, even in St Louis. That majority are rated above 90 on the tomatomomitor. There are two theatres, one with regular movie seats and an older one with a hodge podge of office chairs and couches. There is a cafe attached which serves pastries,... 更多
Ragtag offers couch seating, baked goods and all beverages, and has a good selection of independent type movies. A jewel in Columbia. And inexpensive.
Ragtag is a great place to see independent films and documentaries. They have a bakery in the same building so you can get really good baked goods and then take them in with you. There are couches as well as row seating. They are also who got the true/false film festival started here in Columbia.
if you're into independent film and documentaries then this is a great place...it's very laid back and you can enjoy a cold beer or fizzy root beer while you watch from a comfy couch (if you arrive early)..we weren't :( I wasn't especially impressed, but I guess I'm more a blockbuster person..if you're into an eclectic local spot...enjoy!
Darling little movie theatre with a bar and bakery. You can order a delicious sandwich and your favorite beverage and take it in with you if you're not finished by the time your movie is starting (or enjoy it out in the dining area). The hosts introduce the movies with a short pre-talk that was relevant and interesting.
Ragtag is a good place to go to see some of the indie or less hyped films. Be prepared to sit on a sofa, odd chair or whatever. Since there is a cafe you can bring in your drink or food from the cafe. Prices are comparable to mainstreamed theatres. Be sure to check their schedule on line first.
