Truthfully, I wasn't expecting much from a nature reserve so immediately off the busy streets of Branson. I was really happy to find such a great trail system. I took the blue trail to the stone steps and took them down to the intersection where the purple and blue trails intersect. While the purple trail was nice-it is right along... 更多
Searching for places to walk in Branson, we discovered this series of trails. Conveniently located, good parking area. We took the second easiest trail and it was as indicated - doable for our ability level. Trail markers were somewhat confusing so we ended up doing more than we intended, but that was fine, enjoyed the beautiful surroundings!
Located just off Hwy. 76 this little jewel is easy to find and well worth finding. If you need a nature break from the Branson hustle and bustle this is the place for you. There are several trails of different lengths and degrees of difficulty. You can spend as much or as little time as you like. If you choose... 更多
My fiance and I went out here. It's a good hike. There is some sun but mostly shaded. The trails are pretty easy but there is a more rugged optional section. Some parts include significant elevation changed. We enjoyed it and spent about 1.5 hours out there.
Whole family went be aware the steps are quite a workout but I felt was worth it to see the grotto and waterfall. was quite warm so next time would bring water with us.
There are a few trails here. We opted to climb down to see the Waterfalls and cave. Waterfalls was dried up. The stairs are killers. After you climb down, you have to climb up on the return trip. Even young folks near us were wiped out with exertion. Want some exercise? Head over to the Grotto.
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 was that some of the trails were not well maintained. Plenty of hiking available from easy to difficult. I did a 4 mile hike and the 350 stairs at the end was torturous, but I knew they were coming. You will definitely hit foliage as some paths are overgrown, but the... 更多
The trails here are beautiful with a lot to see! Started off on the Bluff and made my way down the 360 steps, saw two caves and the waterfall/grotto at the end. Waterfall was dry bc of no rain lately but still worth the view! Made a separate little hike from there down to the river to dip my toes... 更多
Great history, Stairs, be prepared 300+,going down is easy, back up not as fun. A couple of cave and depending on rain, a waterfall. Beautiful scenery, another trail cuts around, so you have options on direction, or do both. Not a difficult level for the regular hiker, but not a paved walk, mostly dirt trail. We liked it.
