Rode the train the last time I came in 2014 with a friend and we really liked it. First time on a real train and it went down the tracks a little ways and back but it was peaceful and scenic. Older people will like it as will the kids.
We had high hopes for this activity. My husband doesn't get around as well as he used to so I thought this would be a great tour to take, but when we left the station all we really saw was trees! Plus it was rather hard to understand what was being said over the speaker. So we were disappointed with... 更多
This train depot is right next to the road and is so accessible to viewing that if you want to see some, and wonderfully restored, train engines and car, this is a must-do destination. So, for me, it was great to see the old engines restored and operational. Definitely a view into a bygone era. Highly recommended.
We have ridden many trains and this didn't live up to its name. There was little to NO scenery until we got to the end of the ride before we came back the same way again. Very disappointing!!
Went to railroad depot. Can't say nothing special about it. Took the scenic train trip. Overall boring. Music from 40,s which I know they were matching train. Could have been a lot more narration, which would have made trip a lot better. This is one thing in Branson will not do again.
If you have nothing, and I mean nothing better to do this is the last resort. If you enjoy a slow ride thru the woods this is for you otherwise stay away. Not worth the money or time wasted, there are better places to go and do stuff.
My wife had always wanted to travel on a train and this is a great beginners ride! Not like I'm a hobo, but I have been on a few train rides and the renovated cars are what my mother used to travel on back in the 1940's. You gain an appreciation for how far we have come in 40-50-60-70 years
This is advertised to make you think it is going to be filled with beautiful views of scenery. It is not. You're limited to what you see and all you do it go one way, stop and reverse back to the Depot. Expensive and not worth it.
Lasts about 2 hours, coming and going, ole remodeled VistaDome Bud cars from the 1940s. Think Philadelphia here. Very scenic route, includes trestle bridges and an under-the-mountain tunnel, which is pretty cool. Refreshments available for a high cost. Can be long lines and can sell out seats, so be prepared to go early. Parking can be a little troublesome, since... 更多
