We took city bus from Vienna Central Station to this southern castle. Easy trip with wi-fi across nice countryside, it's a real outing. The castle is small and serious! I honestly recommend the castle visit. Large history of the Esterhazy family, family treasures and historical weapons from the 17-19th century in a very nice, well preserved castle. Do not miss the panorama terrace, from where you have the best view to the region!
I can strongly recommend you to visit this castle of the famous Hungarian noble family Esterházy in the Burgenland province of Austriat, at a ca. hour-long car drive from Vienna.
