It was ok - my husband flipped out over his guitar. The lady inside was upset that we brought our kids inside and told them to leave that it was no place for kids. I have always heard about Jimmy Rogers growing up. I wanted to go to the museum. It was interesting but very costly for admission. As one stated it does seem run down. I still enjoyed seeing the history that I had always heard about in many of the country music singers song!
We just didn't feel that this museum was worth the entrance fee. Granted that it's free for active duty military and kids, but it was very small and didn't have anything that really grabbed our attention. It also just looked run-down and poorly maintained (as did the entire park it's located in). Probably more suited for die-hard classic country fans.
We enjoyed the chance to visit the museum, because of the information shared with us by the guide. We also enjoyed viewing the video during our time there.
