I was pleasantly surprised by the Hattiesburg Zoo. I wanted to go for Sloth Day because they're my favorite animals, but I didn't expect much from Hattiesburg because I knew it wasn't a huge zoo. I had a great time though. The workers are friendly, the prices are super cheap, and it was really clean and fun.
This is not your average zoo! I enjoy going and have taken many groups here on field trips. The animals are fun to visit. They also have a play area and a splash pad. The snack bar is lacking so take your own picnic. The park next to it is a nice place to visit. Take the train ride for... 更多
I was not expecting the Hattiesburg Zoo to be this awesome! I have a 2 year old, and this was perfect for her attention span. Even on Memorial day weekend the crowd was steady but not overwhelming. This zoo is VERY clean and we really enjoyed our time there. I can't believe this place is only 5 bucks to get... 更多
I've been going to this zoo my entire life. I've been to every zoo within 300 miles of this zoo. It's not too large and is very well kept. Great for kids as they have a short attention span. Adults can easily enjoy this zoo also and the best part is that it's nearby and affordable.
The zoo has a wide variety of animals and birds. It is clean and the people who work there seem to love their work and the animals
This zoo is fairly small; however, for small children, it's perfect! There are several exhibits to enjoy, Carousel, train rides, and a splash pad for the children on hot days! It was only $5 to enter for adults. Our child was free. Again, this is a very nice place for an afternoon with the family!
There isn't much publicity for this zoo and everyone thinks it's the one on 49 with the fence but it's not! It is if someone built beautiful gardens and then added exotic animals. There is light music in the Africa area that makes you feel you are in a village and it is also understated educational explaining poaching and what... 更多
We are season pass holders to the Audubon Zoo, but we gave this one a try while in the area. It is much smaller than the Audubon Zoo, but my younger kids enjoyed it better. I also enjoyed it. It was clean with lots of kid friendly activities. Lots of picnic tables to eat at. A free splash pad. Great... 更多
