We made a special trip from Wangaratta to see this exhibition and we were not disappointed. It was good to view the journals and sketches as part of the display. I particularly Liked seeing Cossington-Smith's sketch of the Sydney Harbour Bridge construction and then looking up to view the completed painting. The catalogue is so detailed - it is a... 更多
Heide's grounds are attractive in spring when all the trees are in leaf, flowers are in bloom, vegies are growing and lawns are green (although Melbourne's springs can be windy, damp and cool, so take a jacket or umbrella as appropriate). Great Srt work - investing and compelling. The buildings are interesting and loved hearing / reading the history of the museum and learning about the family. Fabulous cafe. The grounds are beautiful I will go there again
This is a fun museum that also gives you a look into other peoples lives. The two houses are where the owners actually lived. The restaurant has excellent food and coffee and the grounds are delightful to explore.
Heide is an all time favourite of mine. I was taken here by my Mum as a child and we would explore the huge outdoor area. The sculpture garden is still such a highlight for me on every visit. It is a beautiful location for a picnic with family and friends. The indoor galleries are wonderful and show interesting artwork... 更多
I visited with a friend who enjoys galleries more than I do and they absolutely loved it. I did enjoy it but was a let down by the cranky, rude and unwelcoming lady who we had greet us in Heidi II. Really put a dampner on our day. Three different buildings each with a different aspect of art. An on... 更多
The exhibition is quite interesting and the ideas are new, that's how I found it's worth to go. There are three exhibition rooms which with different kinds of art work ($18 entrance fee for adults and free for kids), there is also outdoor sculptures park which is free to visit. The public transportation ( bus) takes a while to be... 更多

You get there by your own car or taxi and the different exhibitions are in separate buildings in a very lovely open area. It would be an enjoyable way to explore the... 更多
