This is a wonderful educational Experiance, they do a good job of narrating the entire Stillwater area back 100yrs ago when there were as many as 5 - Lumber Mills in this river town, showing many of the Lumber Barron's Mansons and telling all the stories that go along with it.
The trolley was the wise and fun way to travel here for a wedding on the lakefront! Clear tarps keep the heat in for a crisp evening or rain, so no worries and expect it to be an excellent memory!
I think the B&B tour would be fantastic but the tour we took, a general drive around town, was just OK. The tour guide was well informed and shared a lot of information, but the 45 minute tour was, well, uninspiring. Sometimes we saw a barren plot of land and we were told that someone's house 'used to' be there.... 更多
Very nice. Informative and very interesting homes. Stillwater history of logging. Good story teller. Fair price. Colorful archetectural homes from many different areas of 5th world.
After many visits to Stillwater we finally took the trolley tour and found it very interesting! It is amazing that the trolley can climb the steep streets, oh but sometimes it can't and they have to back up.
Stillwater is an historic town with many interesting people and buildings, which you will be able to be discovered on this tour. It's about 45 minutes long and covers the highs and lows that the town has been through over its existence. The tour guide was easy to listen to and made the tour fit the passengers he carried, he... 更多
A very well knowledge man drove around Stillwater I can't remember his name. As he spoke of the Stillwater you could tell his love for the first town in MN. I would rate this as a number #1 item to do in Stillwater. This will give you a taste of the rest of this great city.
The tour was nice but not worth the cost. Most larger cities do not charge the same amount. There were some nice houses and some historical stories but it was too short and had too little for the price. I felt it could have been less expensive. They also waited until they could fill the large trolley to capacity instead... 更多
We took the Bed and Breakfast tour. Its only on Tuesdays (until Labor Day) at 1:00 and I think limited to 15 people. The cost is $20 a person. Us girls are from Stillwater and drive by these huge B&Bs all the time and always wondered what they look like inside so this was a perfect opportunity for it. We... 更多
