If you haven't visited the courthouse be sure to go. It is free, the security officer has a brochure about the "Vision of Peace" sulpture that dominates the lobby. It is my personal favorite. Lots of other art and exhibits to see but don't miss the elevator doors.
While my husband was in meetings at the St. Paul Hotel, I took a walking tour of the downtown area. This stop was a special treat since it was so unexpected. Because it is a county government building, you must go through security but it is worth it. I have never seen so much black marble in my life! The... 更多
You can spend a good amount of time wandering through this magnificent structure. Paintings and sculpture and other intriguing artifacts will increase your knowledge of St. Paul and give you a sense of why Pigs Eye Parrot decided to claim this city as his own.
this building is a great site to visit. The statues and stonework combined with wood word is very cool. The main statue in the lobby if of a large indian which is made of stone and rotates very slowly. The only problem is this building is a city/county building and you out witness all the employees wandering the hallways trying... 更多
The marble and wood working is worth the visit. each floor has different verity. they have plaques on the walls listing the different types.
A gorgeous art deco building overlooking the Mississippi River. doubles as St. Paul City Hall. The lobby is stunning. GO to the basement to see historic photos.
You have to walk inside this beautiful building to see how much care was taken to build it and then be amazed when you find out that it was in the midst of the Depression. The huge statue of passing the Peace Pipes is very interesting! Go up to the library at the top and see great views of the... 更多
This is a spectacular hidden moderne wonder in downtown Saint Paul! Memorial Hall evokes the feeling of entering a grand, ancient native american space-traveling "ship" (ha!). Scanners and security are a now-necessary hurdle to enter the space - very worth the hassle to experience these spaces. Don't miss: - Exterior art - Elevator Doors - Memorial Hall with Vision of... 更多

Both times was quite taken with the statue. This week I am here for jury duty (a common reason for visiting), and am taken each day... 更多
