Calendar Girls was just amazing! The acoustics were good, the staff was friendly, and the acting was spot on! Overall quite enjoyable; it's front entrance is a little hard to see from the road as it's down a lane that can't be driven on.
I went to see "Calendar Girls" on opening night and it was spectacular! There was an opening ceremony to recognize all the hard work that Mary does as Education Director for Park Square plus directing plays. Afterwards there was a reception in the lobby which was well attended. The actors came out later to converse with audience members in attendance.... 更多
I have enjoyed season tickets at the Park Square Theater for several years. They always seem to create fascinating/gripping plays. They frequently perform original works, including premiers and/or regional first performances. Moreover, they have a wonderful educational program. The theater is growing and they just added a second stage. I enthusiastically recommend an evening at the Park Square Theater.
I brought a group of 8th grade student to this theater to see a production. I have to give props to my kiddos, as they were much better behaved than the city kids, but I digress. The staff treated our students like the young adults they were truly acting like. Many pleases and thank you'd going both ways. A very... 更多
I recently had the pleasure to attend a show at the theater and found the atmosphere to be charming, the performances well done and in general had a great time. It's well worth exploring because of the talent/stories presented.
We have had season tickets for the PST for the past 6 years. I have liked many of their choices of plays over this period of time. PST presents a variety of plays to meet the desires of their patrons. Usually each production is quite good and well directed. However, sometimes the direction could be better, and a few times... 更多
Taking advantage of my two-ticket gift to see Great Expectations yesterday, and coming from out of town in "feels like -35" temperatures, we gave ourselves plenty of time to find the theatre. Lots of one-way streets made it hard to find even with GPS help since it doesn't say it's in a court yard and Hamm building didn't mean as... 更多
We saw the play, Beauty Queen of Leenane last night. It was a VERY dark play, but the acting was superb. The play was well worth it, and that is saying a lot in our wonderful theatrical pair of cities. However, it was performed in the Andy Boss thrust stage and that was a very poor choice of venue for... 更多
This is a professional theater in the lovely historic Hamm building. Actually it's two theaters on differnt floors of the Hamm building,s o make sure you go to the right one for your show. Performance quality is very good for regional theater (although not yet on the stellar level of the Guthrie in Minneapolis). After the show walk outside and... 更多
An enjoyable and intimate theater with fun shows. We thoroughly enjoyed the "Sherlock Holmes" play, sitting close enough to see all the action and then staying for a post-play discussion. This was fun!
