Situated across from the Munsinger Gardens, this is a quiet and peaceful place to spend a little time. There are benches that overlook the Mississippi River.
Munsinger/Clemens Gardens are a true gem for the state of Minnesota. Every visit to St. Cloud should include a trip to the gardens; upper (Clemens) and lower (Munsinger). Allow a few hours to see everything and be sure to take some time to simply sit and enjoy the scenery.
I was visiting for work and decided to check the gardens out to get out and enjoy the nice weather. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the gardens were and how well kept the are. I would highly recommend stopping by for a walk through the very relaxing gardens.
Six separate gardens connected by red brick pathways. Thousands of annual and perennial plants. Rose Garden, white garden, formal garden, blooms attracting bees and butterflies. Five beautiful fountains. A grand place to be with your thoughts and journal. A great place for your daily walk.
This is one of my FAVORITE places to visit in the summer-time in St. Cloud. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous!! The gardens go on forever. This Rose Garden is dedicated to Virginia Clemons who lived across the street from the gardens and he husband lovingly dedicated the flowers to her memory. This is a garden that has dozens of rose bushes along with other various types of plant and flowers and pretty trellises and fountains. The walk around is very easy and very fragrant
This is part of or at least adjacent to the Munsinger Gardens below. There is alarmed rose garden dedicated to Virginia Clemens. The brick paths connect those gardens to other formal flower gardens with fountains. At the far end from the rose gardens there are stairs to an elevated garden with a view across all.
