I was glad that we toured the bank during Jesse James Days. Since we did it before the bank robbery reenactment, we knew what it looked like inside...which is essentially the same as it was on the day the actual attempted robbery occurred. You can even see the bank register as it appeared on the date of the robbery. Be... 更多
Museum focuses on James and Younger gang robbery of Bank in Northfield. Bank is setup as it was in 1876. There are other displays as well including historical photos.
Certainly worth the $5 admission to learn a bit about the Franker/Younger raid on Northfield. The young lady who walked us through the bank was a high school student who volunteers at the museum, She did a better job as a storyteller relating the events than many adults I have encountered at other places. Although there are a couple of... 更多
Enjoyed the 2 gentlemen's account of the Jesse James bank robbery. Saw the bank as it was on that infamous day, even stood on the original hardwood floors. I love history so it was fascinating to learn about this terrible group of bank robbers. Glad I did it!

The admission price was very reasonable. Not much for a child to see but more than enough for an adult... 更多

I was able to visit during the DJJD event. After the recreation we were given a quick tour of the relevant points of the chase after the robbery attempt. The museum timeline was great and I loved walking into the actual bank. Good gift shop.
