Great place to spend serene time, enjoying native plants and relaxing scenery! I love that there is so much info offered here along with guided tours
Peaceful, wild, beautiful - a way to get away from the city but to stay in the city. Good especially in the spring when the wild flowers burst into bloom.
This was a beautiful park--well-kept, easy to traverse, quiet, clean, large enough to get a good hour's worth of walking in, small enough not to get lost. This is a private garden s that is somewhat quaint,it restful, quiet lovely to lay your eyes on. Wide variety of plant scapes.
We came here with our 2 year old hoping to spot some butterflies. There are lovely walking trails, lots of wildlife to point out, and it's staffed with people who can talk to you about the wildlife and history of the place. It's a low-key and pretty place to take the kids.
I come here through the Spring and Summers. I find it relaxing here. This is a pleasant place to walk in as well. I also took my Girl Scouts for a wild flower class here a couple of years back.
Last year, the garden started an activity back back for kids. They have the cutest backpacks with activity books. Everything a kid needs to complete the booklet is in the backpack! If the kids complete enough activities for their age, they receive a patch and a prize! Best of all, it's FREE!
