I was part of the team that installed a sound system that won national recognition because "they" said it couldn't be done. This is an historic venue that has been preserved in a time when many stadiums are being razed. Kudos to the U of M.
"The Barn" is a very old stadium. Bathrooms are small. Paint peeling on walls all over the building. There are a lot of obstructed viewing seating. This might be a historical building and all, but for viewing a game it's not great. Needs to be refurbished or tore down. Get a newer up to date arena where all fans can... 更多

Great place to watch basketball. The floor is raised. This use to be an old aircraft hangar. Years ago when the Gophers were good, the "barn" use to get really loud. Nowadays it is a reasonable loud not ear splitting. The team isn't so good under Pittino so far.
When there is an event , good venue for basketball. clean, organized and easy in and out.our seats were in the reserved section, so it was really good.
Good place to watch a basketball game. It has one of the few remaining raised floors in the country. It's home to the University of Minnesota's men's and women's basketball teams.
Williams Arena won't give you the most comfortable seats or the best food selection but it has a feel and energy like no other basketball arena in the country. Some of the seats have obstructed views but somehow it doesn't matter...
It was a visit of basketball nostalgia. The raised basketball floor. The seats up so high you need oxygen and a binoculars. A student worker in working in the facility even though the U of M was closed for semester break and he was good enough to let us into the facility and even put on the lights for us.... 更多
