My husband and I went up to the observation deck the night of our anniversary. It's a great place to see a 360 degree view of the city. It's not the tallest building in Minneapolis which makes it that much more fun to look out, in my opinion. Love art deco? This is a must-see icon when visiting or acting... 更多
Before you go there, read the story of Mr. Foshay and his tower on wikipedia, it's a fascinating read. The entire building is art deco, and I definitely recommend a drink on the top level bar "Prohibition".
An icon in Minneapolis this used to be the tallest building in the Midwest. It's now dwarfed by the buildings around it. It's well preserved and an interesting place to go especially if you like to learn city/state history.
We had some time to kill and since we got to go up for free since we were staying at the hotel, we decided to make a trip up the 30 floors to the top. Cool old elevator. EXCELLENT binoculars for viewing. I bet a could read the facial expressions of people at TArget Field (if they were people there).... 更多
With its deco stylings and slightly checkered past, the Foshay Tower is a bit of an anomaly amid the glassy modernity of most of the Minneapolis skyline. And the oh-so-hip W Hotels approach to the lobby is a bit out of place. But this is still a very cool attraction; paying to go up to the observation deck isn't a... 更多
I Visited this site to learn the history of building and Minneapolis. NO Tour Guide. Just follow the displays and such. Afterwards go out on the balcony. The view is awesome. In these years the Foshay Tower is the Shadow of the IDS building
We had a great time going up to the observation deck. My six year old loved having to put her key card in the slot just to be able to make the 30th floor button light up. There are step stools for the kids to be able to see out which was very nice! If we ever happen to be... 更多
The Foshay Tower was once the tallest building (from 1929-1971) in Minneapolis, but at only 30 floors is now dwarfed by the buildings around it. However, the Museum and Observation Deck offers you a look at Minneapolis's history and the view is still remarkable. Great photo site! Even the elevator doors are beautiful. It is located in downtown, not far... 更多
One of the few towers where they allow you to go up and have an aerial view though there are many other towers that are much taller than this tower.
Went on a weekend trip with friends and tried Manny's. The waitress warned us, but we did not listen and ordered 4 separate meals. Two would have been more than enough. The lobster and prime rib were incredible.
