I remember in the late 1980s when this carousel was being built. One could watch through windows as it was being created. It is an amazing creation that is old world. Something not done any more. It is still there for kids of all ages to take a ride on.
Took my mother here on a day trip. This was easily accessible for her and her walker. They have a small café with food and ice cream. Their fudge was very delicious. Various places to shop with things for young and old. Being a puzzle lover, I was delighted with their large selection of puzzles, games, and toys for kids....
My granddaughter and I stopped to see the Lark toys and carousel. The animals on the carousel are beautiful and a ride only costs $2. But check out times, because it doesn't run all the time. There were also many beautiful new toys, books, games, etc. and a museum of old toys, dolls, games, etc. Definitely worth a stop!
This Carousel is just beautiful. The detail and time that went into it is truly amazing and greatly appreciated. My parents took me, my younger sister, and my 10 year old son for a visit. My son LOVED it!! Let me remind you, this is a 10 year old boy growing up in a digital world. He was in awe...
My son was so excited to go on the carousel!! He didn't like that he had to wait but the is a 4 year old for you! It was only $2 a ride can't beat that! My son went in twice and would have done it more!!
