We got to learn about the new wolf pups that are going to be introduced into the pack. The two Alaskan pups are 13 weeks old and have lost most of their puppy appearance, but they still have much to learn in order to adapt to the social structure of the wolf pack.
I live in Ely and visited for the first time! I was pleasantly surprised! The center is beautiful. The staff friendly. The young man who did the pup presentation was excellent. The info and displays are great! Highly recommend visiting! I will be back with family!
You could literally spend a whole day here finding out facts on wolves. There are walking tours, auditorium shows, and information seminars hourly. The main problem is figuring out which ones to attend, as they are starting each hour!

We have visited the International Wolf Center several times over the years. The center does a wonderful job educating people about wolves. We have participated in a few adventures programs and are very pleased with what is offered and how they are run. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgable.
Good interactive exhibits. We saw the wolf pups playing for 10 minutes in a silent auditorium. The adults were also watching the pups from the large glass windows. It's better than the wolf exhibits I've seen at a number of zoos. My kids were very interested.....for an hour.
Nice building, money could have been better spent on habitat improvement. What a waste of time and money. Really very little to see or do. You would be better served doing some research on the internet and go on a nice hike in the area..
