Chester Park is absolutely beautiful. The creek runs through the park. The water is low enough to be able to walk across the stones but still enough to make that peaceful running water sound. It is a great place for a picnic.
Hiking trail along Chester Creek is fairly easy and even includes a nice waterfall. Even though you are in the middle of town you feel like you are out in the woods. During the summer they have free concerts every Tuesday evening with a family atmosphere.
