We were in town visiting our kids and wanted to get out of the house for a while and decided to check out this area. We enjoyed strolling along and going in all the little shops lining the streets. Depot town is an historic area in Ypsilanti near the railroad tracks. There are lots of cute little shops and restaurants that serve delicious food. During the summer there is also a very nice farmers market. Definitely check out Depot Town when you are in Ypsi!
Great people. Nice bikes, Not too loud. I enjoy traveling here just about every week. I usually will ride down with a few other riders. It is about a 30-45 minute ride. Stay clear of Maiz Mexican Cantina. Eat at Sticks or Aubree's Pizza.
If in the area, it is well worth giving a few hours to come through Depot Town. In addition to quite a few restaurants (some with outdoor seating), there were a few historical gems in the area. The actual train depot, automotive museum, and a Civil War barracks, all within a small area which can easily be explored on foot.... 更多
I love depot town. There is quite a bit to do. There are a variety of local, friendly eateries to satisfy all taste buds. Frog Island park is nearby and is fun for running, walking, playing soccer or rugby; at times in the summer there are cultural and musical events. Parades often go through Depot town for Memorial Day, Independence... 更多
