We did not know what this was, so drove down to see it. Because of the lack of time, we did not have time to wak, but I am sure it would have been much better to see at a lesiurly pace. The little homes are beautiful though, and if you are a history buff, worth the time.

Water Street in the Sault offers the history buff to step back in time and see where the early settlers of this small city lived - and how they lived as well as being able to tour a lake freighter.
We visited the houses where many decisions were made that had eventual long-term impact on the area. They are well preserved and give a great glimpse into the past. Enjoyed reading the accounts of happenings in each house for a $3.00 fee. Great views of river and the ships passing.
This is such a charming block to walk and enjoy the beauty and charm of these historic homes. There are many markers along the way explaining the history of this block. Take a stroll back in time!
