Very friendly and accommodating staff. If you need help setting up your site they will help you. Quiet at night and you'll meet friendly people at breakfast. Wonderful shower and bathroom facilities. The lake is just a short walk across the street and there is a convenience store on site. Very enjoyable.
Forget about quiet contemplation of nature in this park. We're just hoping to be able to get to sleep. The park is situated right on the shore of Lake Huron and boasts a beautiful sandy beach. However, the campsites need to be reduced by half as people are crowded in on top of each other with cars parked helter-skelter all... 更多
We spent three nights at spot #20 and loved it! This is our third MI State Park camping trip of the summer, and this park was the dirtiest of the three. I spent my portion of the set-up time picking about 25 cigarette butts out of the fire ring where we intended to cook our food. Plastic bags, crushed cans,... 更多
First time to Port Crescent and was really impressed with the views of Lake Huron. Many sites are located on the water with private sandy paths to the beach. Many other sites are across the road with awesome views as well. We had site 62 next to the bathroom. The negative is it was next to the septic field with... 更多
We love to camp here. It is located right on Lake Huron. The sites are large and mostly shady there are some that back right up to the lake. There is a large day use park right down the road from the campground that is good for fishing or hiking.
Great hiking trails and great camping location. We got a beautiful site off Lake Huron. It was quiet and beautiful. The showers/restrooms where clean and newer. Another wonderful Michigan State Park.
In our travels around the "thumb" my adult daughter & I camped in this park for 2 nights. We had a tent site right on the edge of Lake Huron and it was beautiful! I don't know what it would be like on a weekend in the summer, but during the week in early May it was wonderful -- very... 更多
Awesome views here, the walk can be a little challenging, it is all sand and when I went there were rocks and garbage that you had to walk on so bare foot is not recommended.
We drove up to Port Austin primarily to scout out the campground. I haven't camped here yet but did get to enjoy some of the beautiful nature trails the park offers and I'll definitely return in early spring to camp (before the rush of summer camping begins up there). There are campsites along the beach which would be ideal for... 更多
Very wonderful camp for couples and families. Well maintained and secure. Great for tents or trailers. Fabulous beach..clean and no stones or pebbles.
