The trails are interesting and well marked. Birders will like it. Parking is adequate most of the time. The one big thing to be aware of is very discourteous dog owners who allow dog droppings to be left in the middle of the trails. The Meridian Parks Commission needs to enforce the local ordinance and impose fines on this FREQUENT... 更多
I ride my horses here quite a bit in the summers and fall. Its a little too wet in the spring and winter in MI is made for hibernating. They take good care of the trails and its never too busy.
Harris Nature Center is a hidden gem in Meridian Township! Great trails for running or walking. Feels like you are 'up north'. I have seen lots if deer, fox and a great horned owl on these trails! The nature center has programs for kids and adults as well. A must visit!
Stopped by when my daughter's class had a field trip here. It's popular with local schools but the general public can drop by as well. Saw some aquariums with local turtles, frogs, and snakes inside.
