My wife and I rode this trail three times this year. It has many bridges and beautiful vistas. Easy ride with gentle hills.
I began this trail by downtown Muskegon and headed toward the lake. The first several miles included views of industrial sites and old run down buildings. It then heads along side a somewhat busy road for a while. At the end you are treated with the Lake MI lake shore. This is by far the highlight of the trail of... 更多
We came from out of town to cycle Muskegon trails, and although it is a flat and well maintained trail, as out of towners, we felt is was not clearly marked and we had to stop to ask for directions. We rode down from Duck Lake on the Scenic Route connector and had a difficult time with the connections due... 更多
We checked out the Muskegon beach area on our way up the coast. We parked at Pere Marquette Park & rode bikes for 8 miles on the trail. Flat, paved trail with little, but some contact with roads. Goes half way around Muskegon lake, from the Muskegon river inlet, around the south side of the lake, ending up at Lake Michigan beach. Good parking at three separate city boat launches along the route, and two parks, Pere Marquette and one end and Wetland type park near the river.... 更多
If you think Muskegon doesn't have anything to offer, get over yourself. This lovely trail takes you past many sights and places that are deserving of your attention.
The Lakeshore trail is a GREAT Muskegon amenity. What a great way to enjoy the lakefront AND get a bit of exercise! It is very encouraging to see people (& families) using the path at all hours of the day.
Great trail along Muskegon Lake. The path is flat and well maintained. There are points where they have board walks over the wet lands and benches to sit and enjoy the view. You wouldn't know your in the city
