What an impressive ship! The Mighty Mac was the greatest icebreaker ever to cruise the Great Lakes and as soon as you see it you will have to agree. I remember when it was still in use and had the pleasure to tour it when it was still in active service. Even now, as a museum ship it still amazes... 更多
We spent about 2 hours on a self guided tour of the ice breaker. Very well laid out with interesting exhibits about shipping, ice breakers, the Great Lakes, etc. there are volunteer guides spotted through the ship to answer questions.
Let's face it - how many times have you been on a real icebreaker? It was a first for me, and a blast. Informative and very, very interesting. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed this visit on a rainy morning before the weather cleared. Inspiring stories, great staff and fun opportunity to explore such a big ship and piece of the region's history.
The docents here are very informative and pleasant. The views bring back memories of shipboard life. A lot of climbing for older visitors, but well worth the visit.
