You can see Arch Rock from the road, if you are biking around the island. It's a stop if you take a carriage ride tour. I would not go out of my way to see it, but if you are doing another activity it's worth taking in.
We rented bikes and cycled over to Arch Rock. Once you leave the busy Main Street area, the ride is leisurely. It's a good workout climbing all the stairs but the view is lovely. When you look down at the water from that height, you would swear that it was the clear waters of the Caribbean. Fun place to explore... 更多
This rock is so amazing and the framing of the lake incredible. It's just VERY PACKED here so you have to squeeze in your photo amidst a crowd! We hiked here.
Arch Rock is a major attraction on the Island. You can get to it via carriage ride, bike up British Landing/Crossing Road, or walk up lots of stairs when stopping along your journey on the perimeter of the Island. This walk is what you need after overdoing it at the local bars and restaurants. Good exercise on foot or you can take it easy and let the horse carriage take you there. Amazing views of the water and interesting rock formations. It's free!
